Children at Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel were visited by six amazing superheroes from Millennium Building Services (MBS). Superheroes descended nine stories of glass at Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel on Monday, May 19, cleaning windows all the way down. Batman, Robin, Spider-Man, Superman and The Flash brought fun and adventure to kids, families and hospital staff.
Children, as well as adults, watched in excitement and awe from the hospital’s two-story, glass family lounges as superheroes waved, fist pumped and posed for photos while cleaning windows with their filled buckets filled with soapsuds.
Before the superheroes arrived kids dressed up as superheroes themselves with costumes from Chelsea’s Closet, a program from the Chelsea Hick’s Foundation. Staff also wore capes to join in the celebration.
Superhero window washers from MBS were thrilled to bring an extraordinary day to the children, families and staff. MBS has been washing windows at Legacy Health’s six hospitals for nearly 30 years and providing professional building maintenance services to the Portland metropolitan area for 40 years.
