Bigger, Better My Street Grocery Open for Business at two Legacy locations

My Street Grocery officially opened its Legacy Good Samaritan location and its new Legacy Emanuel location last month with a larger, more comprehensive storefront, expanded days and times to conveniently bring fresh food directly to clinic patients suffering from chronic diseases.   The mobile grocery store is open to the public and accepts cash, credit/debit, and SNAP/EBT.

Legacy Medical Group (LMG) has registered nurses, dietitians and diabetic health educators available at the two locations to answer questions as well as provide nutritional guidance and support. 

LMG – Good Samaritan Market 
Parking lot near NW 23rd and Northrup Street
Tuesdays and Thursdays
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

LMG – Emanuel Market 
Parking lot on corner of N. Vancouver and Graham Avenue
Wednesdays
2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

My Street Grocery, now a partner of Whole Foods, sells fresh, seasonal produce, staple grocery items and healthy refrigerated and frozen food items. This year, My Street Grocery has new refrigerated, ADA compliant truck that houses healthy drink choices, spices, 365 Everyday Value® products, more protein options.

Grants from the Good Samaritan Foundation and the Emanuel Medical Center Foundation fund vouchers for low-income patients to shop at the mobile grocery store. Hundreds of patients from LMG – Good Samaritan and LMG – Emanuel will receive vouchers.
