A urologic surgical team are the first in Oregon to complete a radical cystectomy with urinary diversion operation completely inside the body using minimally-invasive robotic assisted surgery to treat advanced bladder cancer in a 74-year-old female. “We are thrilled to have completed a very technical and complicated surgery entirely using a robotic-assisted method,” said Shammai Rockove, M.D., Medical Director for Urology at Legacy Health.
