Coming of Age: Salmon Creek NICU reunion
Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center celebrates it's tiniest patients as it welcomes back the babies of the NICU for its annual reunion Saturday, September 9. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cares for the most fragile of babies born at Salmon Creek.
Tristin and Justin Fuller are among the oldest alumni, now 11 years old. The twins from La Center were born 10 weeks early each weighing 3 pounds.
They're among the 3,200 children who have been cared for in the NICU since the hospital opened in August 2005. They're growing up; healthy and active preteens making positive contributions in the community.
