About Me:

Dr. Donovan received her medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN and completed her General Surgery Residency at OHSU in Portland, OR. She then completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. She is board certified in General Surgery. Her special interests include helping patients navigate a new breast cancer diagnosis, monitoring high-risk patients, addressing the needs of special populations with breast cancer, and oncoplastic breast surgery. She enjoys discussing a patient’s goals before beginning any treatment and tailoring care to each person’s lifestyle. Outside of work, Dr. Donovan enjoys hiking and running slowly in the forest, cooking surprising meals on a camp stove, and spending time with her daughter.

Legacy has found the best oncology breast surgeon in the USA. Dr Cory Donovan is not only a skilled surgeon. She is kind, empathetic, explains options and treatments. She holds your hand during this whole scary process. I am extremely lucky to have found her.

Dr Donovan was very compassionate and informative regarding my health care. The staff has all been great and very caring. The only complaint I possibly have is with the scheduler not being quite as responsive as I expected in the very beginning of the process however the care from all other staff members far outweighs that first impression

Dr Donovan has an amazing bedside manner and the fact that she has experienced breast cancer herself means she is extremely empathetic towards her patients. She involves her patients in major treatment decisions, doesn't take patient concerns lightly, and generally makes the cancer journey less scary for her patients.

This was my first visit to Dr. Donovan and I was SO impressed by her and her team! Starting with check-in, Sasha was so professional, prepared and friendly. I was immediately at ease and felt very warmly welcomed. From there, Lauren continued the great experience was was so personable. Dr. Donovan herself was amazing--just a wealth of knowledge and made me feel like I was in the best possible hands. I'm thrilled with this care team and my overall experience. I wish this office was my primary provider!

Dr Donovan explained my diagnosis, suggested surgery and treatment in language I could understand. She drew pictures to help explain what was going on in my body. She answered my many questions. She was kind, courteous, and extremely pleasant. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

Dr. Donovan is by far one of the best Doctors I have seen since moving. She actually listens to the patient and genuinely seems to care. I had no concerns or doubts of her abilities or the procedures I went through with her. I love and appreciate doctors who treat ME and MY needs not treat me as a number and with the "basic standard of care" that doesn't always apply to or is what's best for the patient.

From start to finish thus far my expectations have been exceeded. The staff was very personable and friendly and Dr. Donovan also exceeded expectations.....she was very patient and at no time made me feel like she was in a rush. It was a good first interaction and I am very grateful. Prior to meeting Dr. Donovan I did have a little issue with the radiology dept that I would like to bring to your attention. Please call or email to discuss. Some suggestions for improvement in this terrifying process of being initially diagnosed with cancer.

It took me 3 visits to be seen by my provider. The first 2 scheduled visits were made on days that Dr C Donovan was unavailable to see patients in her office. On one of my scheduled dates she was in surgery and I do not know the reason for the mix up on my first scheduled visit.

I'm always skeptical of online reviews, but I've found that every good thing mentioned about Dr. Donovan Is 100% true. I saw Dr. Donovan after a very frustrating experience with a different surgeon in a different hospital system that made me feel like my weight was a barrier to proper care. Dr. Donovan made me feel human again, like someone who had options and opportunity ahead. I knew I was in good hands. She never glanced at her watch once, she looked me in the eye...her entire team made me feel like I was their most important patient. I'm so glad I found her.

I can't say enough about Dr. Donovan and the exceptional care she has provided me. In my time receiving health care, she is the best by far. She put me right at ease when I first learned of my diagnosis, and has been so supportive throughout my health care journey. I owe so much to Dr. Donovan for all that she did to provide me with the best possible outcome.

Cory is amazing. She was the first person to explain my type of cancer to me and that she had been through my type of cancer too??! Godsend doesn't even begin to cover it. She is now a sister and she can't get rid of me as a friend, even if she tried. I love you Cory, thank you for saving my life.
