About Me:

Trained at the nation’s finest medical institutions, Dr. Westhoff is a thoughtful physician with advanced surgical skills. She graduated AOA from Hopkins, received the resident research award at OHSU, and completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at UCSF/Stanford's highly respected joint program. There, Dr. Westhoff gained expertise in the surgical and clinical care of patients with a variety of gynecologic cancers. She is focused on continuing her work to improve the standard of care through the use of minimally invasive surgical methods and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery pathways. Dr. Westhoff is highly regarded by previous patients for her warmth and compassion. Her humility is a reflection of the values she learned growing up in a small farm community and her time teaching middle school science. Her commitment to service for others includes traveling to Ethiopia to perform prolapse surgeries and developing an after school anatomy class for at-risk youth.

Dr. Westhoff is very friendly and easy to talk to. She inquired about other health issues beyond just the oncology follow up and made some recommendations that were helpful.

Excellent doctor, office and support staff. My big complaint is trying to call different clinics (or maybe departments) with one generic phone number. It becomes difficult to change, manage or ask questions about upcoming visits.

Dr. Westhoff's help immediately set my mind at ease. She is a sincerely wonderful kind and caring person. From my first greeting with her she had everything ready to go with no interruptions... I feel that no matter what lies ahead on this journey she and the all of the other wonderful people working with her will navigate me through with kindness and sincere empathy.

I had completed paperwork on line, then was handed a sheaf of papers to complete even though I had already completed that info on line. I was unable to complete all the questions, but it appeared not to be important as the PA just took it from me uncompleted. It was a waste of time. I really appreciate all the time spent with me. This was my first visit to this office. I have recently moved into the area and I am pleased to receive such good post cancer-treatment care.

Dr. Westhoff offered a way to lessen the fatigue I am experiencing. She answered all my questions clearly and showed empathy for the negative feelings I expressed about chemotherapy.

I've had terrible experiences with the doctors I've seen here in Portland, and so it was with extreme reluctance that I went to see Dr. Westhoff. Not only did she allay my fears with regard to my upcoming surgeries, she also made sure that my physical health now and in the immediate future would allow me to undergo surgery in the first place.
