After graduating from BYU in Molecular Biology, I worked for 6 years as a monitor in clinical research, developing new drugs with pharmaceutical companies. In 2003 I was commissioned in the United States Navy with a medical school scholarship at the University of Vermont. I spent my remaining active duty time in San Diego caring for sailors, marines, and retirees. I love being a general internist, focusing on preventive medicine and helping patients with their health goals.
