About Me:

Dr. Pasadhika is a retina and uveitis specialist at Legacy Devers Eye Institute. He completed medical school at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. He completed fellowships in vitreoretinal surgery at the Sydney Hospital & Sydney Eye Hospital in Sydney, Australia; in uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases at the Oregon Health & Science University; and in ocular electrophysiology, hereditary retinal diseases & medical retina at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to joining Devers, Dr. Pasadhika served as a director of vitreoretinal service at the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration Health Care System and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. His clinical interests include medical and surgical diseases of the vitreous, retina and uvea, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and uveitis.

This was a routine procedure I get about every two months. We always discuss whether the effects of the last procedure were similar or different to previous ones. If I have any questions, these are answered and any relevant discussion takes place. So far, results have been reasonable.

I was referred by another doctor. This visit went very smooth in all regards. I am very pleased that my eye surgery will happen so soon. Dr. Pasadhika was easy to talk with and his explanations were excellent. Both technicians were also excellent, put me at ease and easy to work with.

Called w/"urgent" request for meds, transferred to technicians whose message said to hang up and ask front desk for help. Front desk transferred me back to center that said don't leave message if urgent. Bad cycle.

I'm in a unique position to compare this office to a similar practice elsewhere where I take my elderly mother. It is by far a better run practice with more helpful people (from reception, assistants and my doctor) then my mothers. I wish I had had the opportunity to have her come to this practice.

The provider and I agreed on a 3 ml bottle of Ilevro, rather than the 1.7 ml bottle that he had previously prescribed. However, the transcriptionist recorded 3 1.7 ml bottles in the prescription. I caught the error at the pharmacy.

the visit and care received was superb. pacific source is a whole other issue. they declined payment saying was not pre approved which was incorrect. then denied payment saying I would need to lose 15 percent more vision for the medication used to be approved. that is shameful especially since the whole purpose is to save eye sight. definitely NOT good health for our people. this is an ethical issue especially since the cost of the high priced drug has been driven up by legacy so profit. it's shocking and sad

I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment ( 9:45) and was called in to see the first technician at about 10:30 finally seeing the Doctor (for less than ten minutes) at 11:20

Not all of this survey applies: Have not been to see Dr. P in last 3 months other than the visit in question since I'm on a 6 month checkup schedule; What medical records are you referring to? Dr. P_ has my eye records but not my regular practitioner's annual visits nor has anyone asked for them.

There seemed to be a computer problem when I went to check in-- It took so long I thought I was going to be late for my appointment. I don't know exactly what the problem was, but the women at the check-in desk will know.

frankly , the service was great but I had to wait 45 mins in the waiting room and about 20-25 mins in the patient room and I had to come back and ask for some glasses because I had my eye's dilated ..

The following comments are not all directed to Dr. Pasadhika's care for me. Two visits ago, he ordered a blood test and a urine sample. The lab lost the urine sample. I was supposed to provide another one on the next visit (the one covered here) but the urine sample order was never received by the lab--or so they said. I had it done instead at my regular care provider's lab (30 miles from the Devers Institute) and sent to Dr. Pasadhika. That was ten days ago. I called Dr. Pasadhika office and left a message asking about the results but there has been no answer. This has all been very frustrating and somewhat disconcerting.

I seemed to be left alone just sitting after the first staff person took down basic info, perhaps 20 minutes. Several people walked by the room and glanced in. Later, I met them as assistants to the providing physician. I enjoyed meeting them later and talking with them. The first person--the lady who took down my basic info--spoke with a very, very soft voice + a little accent. So, I had to ask her to repeat several items. The lady who took the photos...this was great. She mentioned that coal was used in the dye they injected. I found this both strange and interesting. We laughed about it a lot and then she looked it up via Google. Very educational. I spoke with the lady who injected the dye; she was from the UK. I had done my Ph. D. research there and we bonded a bit, including comparing the US health care system to the UK's NHS. Very interesting. I enjoyed all of this as much as one could expect.

My appt. was at 8AM however, the check-in / reception did not open on schedule and myself as well as several other patients waiting to check in were frustrated. Luckily a patient who was in the check-in line worked for Devers and saw another co-worker and asked why the check-in desk was not open on time. After some investigation we overheard that someone had called in sick. Finally at approximately 8:15 someone appeared and started the check-in process.
