Services offered

Randall Children's Urgent Care treats patients from birth to 18 years old with the following illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening or medical emergencies:

 

 Allergies      Head injuries without passing out
 Asthma attacks  Incision and drainage
 Broken bones (bone not sticking out)  Rashes
 Colds, coughs and sore throats  Stitches
 Cuts and bruises  Stomach aches
 Earaches  Strains and sprains
 Eye problems  Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
 Fevers in infants older than three months old  Vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration
 Foreign object removal

If your child requires emergency treatment, please call 911 or go to a hospital emergency department.

Other services include:

  • Direct hospital transfer and admission, if needed
  • Phone consult with your pediatrician's office on-call doctor, if needed
  • X-ray

Contact your child's regular doctor for the following services:

  • Behavioral problems
  • Immunizations
  • Medication refills
  • Sports physicials

Randall Children's Hospital

Randall Children's Urgent Care treats kids with illnesses and injuries that need immediate attention, but are not life-threatening. For more serious injuries or illnesses, Randall Children's Hospital and Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center have kids-only emergency rooms in Portland and Vancouver, open 24 hours a day. To help determine if your child's illness or injury should be treated at urgent care or the emergency room, please read our Urgent Care or ER fact sheet. If you are unsure where to take your child, we recommend calling your doctor's office for advice or to speak with the on-call doctor.
