About Me:

Selected by the Portland Monthly as a top surgeon in the Portland area in 2005, 2011 and 2015. Member of the Oregon Medical Association, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, member of the Society for Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons. I have served in Guatemala each year since 2007 providing humanitarian surgical care for the poor. I have been married to Beverly since 1982 and have three children, Elli, Joe and Abby. I also have two grandsons, Simon and Louie. My hobbies include bicycling, cooking, woodworking and gardening.
