About Me:

A desire to positively impact the lives of her patients, as well as the continual intellectual challenge the field offers, led Erica Ballard, MPAS, PA-C, to a career in medicine. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in communications and a minor in exercise physiology, Erica earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from OHSU in 2014. Since then, Erica has practiced within the field of general cardiology while treating a variety of conditions including CAD, heart failure and arrhythmias. Due to her interest in electrophysiology (EP), Erica further specialized her practice by joining the EP team within the Legacy Medical Group Cardiology program in 2022. In this role, she is looking forward to continuing to have a significant impact on the lives of her patients while also being challenged by new, complex patient cases. Outside of work, Erica enjoys baking, reading mystery and thriller novels, and staying active.
