About Me:

Lisa Bailey, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Legacy Weight and Diabetes institute with over eight years of bariatric experience. She helps prepare patients for weight loss surgery, provides educational classes and offers one-on-one support. Lisa continues ongoing care at the time of surgery and provides individualized support after surgery. Lisa has a special interest in empowering patients to achieve their weight loss goals. Lisa received her degree in physician assistant studies in 2005 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She moved to Portland, OR and has worked in surgical specialties since. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being active.

I could never have anything bad to say about the weight loss and diabetes clinic cuz every staff from the receptionist all the way to the back are excellent people caring concerned people and I'm happy to have met each and every one of them

I love everything about this place with one exception. If I call the scheduling department no matter how many messages I leave they will not call me back. It's happened the two times I needed to call and schedule appointments. I gave them a couple days to call me back and they never did. In desperation once I left a message saying that if this wasn't the right number to call to please call me back and let me know. Nothing. I thought I was going to have to drive there and I'm an hour away but I called the nurse navigator both times and she called them and told them to call me back.

High blood pressure, than low, I think we should have done it one more time, just to see where it was. But everyone really tried & did fine. Nice people, thank you.

Every provider I've seen with Legacy has been a breath of fresh air! They make me feel like like I'm being heard.

Very positive experience - just wish it did not take so long for an apt. Wish virtual options available for some of apts. especially f/u ones.
