About Me:

I grew up in a northern Indian family of physicians where I was the first one to choose dentistry! After graduating in 1994 from the Government Dental College in India, I practiced as a General Dentist with my husband in our private practice. When we moved to the U.S., I went back to school to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. At OHSU, I trained at Dentistry school and treated kids with special healthcare needs. I received my board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2009. I love working with kids because it gives me an opportunity to experience the uniqueness of each child and be a part of their lives in a small way. It’s taught me immense patience and unconditional love. I’ve published articles; presented at international conferences and received awards for academics, community services, music, art, and sports. I participate in community outreach and global health projects. I love to play violin, paint, read, watch movies and spend time with my family.
