Legacy Laboratory Services Professional Staff

Legacy Laboratory Services contracts for professional pathology services with Cascade Pathology Services and Cascade Cytology Reference Laboratory. Formed in 1992, this group of nationally recognized pathologists serves Oregon and Southwest Washington and receives referrals from all over the United States. These board-certified pathologists represent multiple specialties and provide a full range of consultative and diagnostic services in the areas of Immunohistochemistry, Molecular Pathology, Medical Genetics, Flow Cytometry, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytopathology, Gynecologic Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Genitourinary and Breast Pathology.

Cascade Pathology and Cascade Cytology receive more than 47,000 surgical specimens and outpatient biopsies and perform over 59,000 cytology examinations annually, providing critical information to the medical community to aid in making important diagnostic and treatment decisions.
