ANTI-NUCLEAR ANTIBODY ELISA SCREEN REFLEX IFA;
ANA specimens are screened using an ELISA assay. All specimens that screen positive or equivocal are confirmed using HEp-2 cells, and if positive, the titer and pattern will be reported.
Specimen Collection Requirements
Allow blood tube to sit for 30 minutes to clot. Centrifuge and separate serum from cells immediately. Pour serum into a plastic tube. If multiple tests are requested, please submit in separate transport tube.
Plasma and other body fluids; severely lipemic or bacterially contaminated specimens
Refrigerated: 48 hours; Frozen -20°C for longer storage
