Specimen Collection Requirements

Collect

Preferred: Plasma, one 3.0 mL mint green (lithium heparin, PST) top tube Also acceptable: Serum, one 5.0 mL gold (SST) top tube

Handling

Allow serum to clot completely at room temperature (minimum: 30 minutes). Keep tube stoppered at all times. Freeze aliquot if unable to perform immediately.
