Collect: Random Urine in an acid free container
 

Handling

                 
Ensure lid is secure on urine container prior to transport.

An aliquot of the urine sample may be transferred to an additive-free yellow-top urine tube for transport.

0.2 mL aliquot

Rejection Criteria

Samples that do not meet SHS labeling requirements.
Samples collected in containers other than the types listed above.
Samples not stored or shipped at proper temperature.
Acidified urine specimens or specimens collected with preservatives.
