German Measles Immune Status
Used to determine immune status for Rubella virus.
The results were obtained with the AxSYM Rubella IgG assay.
IgG values obtained with different manufacturers' assay
methods may not be used interchangeably. The magnitude of
the reported IgG levels cannot be correlated to an endpoint
titer.
Specimen Collection Requirements
Serum, one gold (SST) top tube
Allow blood to clot, centrifuge and remove serum immediately and pour into a plastic vial.
Hemolyzed, icteric or heat inactivated specimens
Ambient: 24 hours; Refrigerated: 7 days; Frozen at -20°C: for longer storage
