Collect

Serum, one 5.0 mL gold (SST) top tube

Handling

Separate serum from cells ASAP. Post-vaccine specimen should be drawn 30 days after immunization. If shipped separately, the post-vaccine specimen must be received within 60 days of pre-vaccine specimen. Please clearly mark specimens Pre-Vaccine or Post-Vaccine so that specimens will be saved and tested simultaneously.
