Specimen Collection Requirements
Serum, one gold (SST) or 7.0 mL red top tube
Allow serum to clot completely at room temperature (minimum – SST: 30 minutes, red top tubes: 60 minutes). Centrifuge and separate serum from cells ASAP.
0.5 mL Serum (1.2 minimum whole blood draw)
Plasma, microbially contaminated, heat treated or specimens containing visible particulates. Grossly hemolyzed, grossly lipemic or icteric serum should not be used.
Ambient (18-26°C): 48 hours; Refrigerated (2-8°C): 14 days; Frozen (≤ -20°C): 1 year

SSA IgG Antibody is not an orderable test. Order both RO52 AB and RO62 AB.
