Guidelines

This probe is designed to detect translocations/variant rearrangements involving CBFβ (Core Binding Factor Beta subunit) gene, such as pericentric inversion of chromosome 16. This inversion is a subtle chromosome abnormality seen in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (M4) cases.
