Serum, one 6 mL plain red top tube
CRITICAL - PROTECT FROM LIGHT during collection, storage, and shipment. Protect from light as soon as collected. Spin and pour off within 1 hour of collection.
Frozen, protected from light
Not light protected, hemolyzed specimen, frozen whole blood, body fluids other than serum
AFTER SEPARATION FROM CELLS: Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 4 days; Frozen: 1 month
