LEAP costs and subsidies

A complete solution and a cost savings

Private practice physicians looking for a complete electronic medical record system can turn to Legacy for help. We can also help you pay for more than a third of the system –– if you take advantage of temporary changes in rules that allow us to subsidize part of your purchase.

Since 2011, Legacy Health has offered private practice physicians a complete EMR. Our solution is called Legacy Epic for Affiliated Physicians, or LEAP. We believe it is the best, most complete EMR/electronic health record.

Using a break in U.S., Oregon and Washington laws, we can subsidize your purchase of the system for up to $11,400. However, the subsidy expires at some point. It could be at the end of the 2013 calendar year. Check this webpage later for new information.

Subsidy, plus support features

LEAP’s total cost per installation is $28,700. Legacy’s subsidy is $11,400 per practice, leaving an upfront cost for private practices of $17,300. Private practice may be eligible for an additional benefit based on their “meaningful use” of LEAP. See here for more.

Our LEAP offering includes Epic upgrades, ICD-10 implementation, meaningful use support, unlimited training and support from Legacy Information Services.

Other features are the MyHealth App for patients, voice recognition capability with Legacy Epic (Dragon), Patient Photos Display options and Check-In (Welcome) Kiosks.
