Visiting a Legacy hospital

Visitor hours: Our hospitals allow visitors from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. If you have questions about visiting, please ask a staff member when you arrive.

Locations: Check a campus map below to see public entrances:

Security and safety: Patients and visitors must pass through a metal detector and consent to bag search before entry.

Prohibited items are not allowed. These include: weapons (including those accompanied by carrying permits), sharp objects and illegal substances. Please note bag size limits before visiting.

We adhere to a zero-tolerance policy. To learn more: Safety Signage Zero Tolerance.

Legacy is a smoke-free campus.

Visitor guidelines: Visitors must always comply with visitor guidelines. Non-compliant visitors will be asked to leave and may be removed from the premises.

Visitor restrictions: We don’t limit number of visitors, or restrict visitors by age, in most areas. But we may do so to support medically fragile patients.

Masking: Masks are optional in most hospital areas. Masks are highly recommended for all patients and visitors following high-risk, prolonged exposure or when visitors enter patient rooms or waiting areas. When a patient comes into a Legacy Health facility and has respiratory symptoms such as coughing, runny nose, sneezing, or fever they may be asked to wear a mask. We ask that visitors follow the personal protective equipment guidelines and wash their hands when entering and exiting patient rooms. Some areas may have more restrictive guidelines based on risk to patients.

Have you been sick? Please delay your visit if you aren’t feeling well or could be contagious from recent illness.

Visiting a Legacy outpatient clinic

Our clinics generally allow one visitor per patient. Two visitors may accompany pediatric patients.
