Patient Rating

Legacy wants every patient to have great care, every time. To help measure and improve patient satisfaction, we send surveys to randomly selected patients after their appointments. We use this feedback from the surveys to improve and enhance the care we offer. It works like this: Real patients give us feedback through Press Ganey, a patient satisfaction survey company. They verify and confirm the results. National Research Corporation, an independent company, provides the technology to show the ratings and comments on our website

Dr. Mehta was late in keeping the appointments: [dates deleted]. No apology and no explanation! The clerks and receptionists were most concerned. I was ready to leave after an hour.

seeing Dr Mehta was one of the most frustrating medical experiences I've had and I've had my fair share of frustrations. I felt completely disregarded, dispecteded, and that he refused to listen to anything I said. every time i tried to ask a question or explain something he used my words against me or ignored them and chastised me for something that I had just explained I had changed or stopped doing on the advice of other professionals in his office and team. I am an excellent patient and follow care plans to the t. I was chastised by dr Mehta for refusing to drink sugary drinks and when i asked for alternatives to the solutions, he spoke over me and told me to drink the sugary drinks. when I explained the fitness journey that I am on he looked at me and my weight, knowing nothing about me, and argued that I needed to be doing other things. I felt that as a young woman, with a relatively difficult health concern, that he decided I wasn't smart enough or competent enough to handle it appropriately. I had to explain to him more than 3 times that I had stopped a medication on my list over three months before and never once did he acknowledge that i had stopped taking it and more than 3 times told me to stop taking it and chastised my use of this Rx. I had taken it on another doctors orders and stopped taking it at dr [name deleted to protect privacy] suggestion (his team mate) and yet, I was to blame for the continued, perceived use. I felt like he was using his status as an intelligent and powerful man to chastise a young woman. overall i am folllowing through on a test with him and will then never utilize this office or this team again. I am so disheartened. this is not good patient care. please take these notes and reflect on how you can do better with other female patients in the future.

This was my first appointment w/Dr. Mehta (electro physiologist) we had a very good conversation about my current heart condition and my defibrillator implant. He also performed a device check. I was very pleased with my appointment and Doctor Mehta.

Unable to schedule a follow-up visit as doctor requested. Was told "schedules are not out yet. Several phone calls later get the same response for each conversation. How is doctor able to see patients if his schedule is not available?

The only bad experience is that we had to wait over 1/2 and hour to get into the room and then the MA had to do a full set of vitals when I was there for a consult, not an exam. That seemed like a further waste of my time. I also thought it was ludicrous that the scheduler called to let me know that my test results were abnormal and couldn't really answer the questions properly. And lastly, when I was scheduled for the ECG stress test on a treadmill, I was not adequately informed of what I needed to be wearing to make this a good experience. I had to run barefoot, in jeans, without a jog bra or ponytail holder for 15+ minutes--just not optimal if you are trying to see what someone's performance capability is. This test was not designed by women, for sure, but proper expectation setting could have improved the experience a lot.

This provider is a specialist dealing with a specific issue. I found the survey questions irrelevant.
