About Me:

Claire Gould, MD, is passionate about providing women with minimally invasive options to treat a large number of gynecologic disorders. She joined Legacy Health after serving 12 years in the United States Air Force as an Ob/GYN. During her time in the service, Dr. Gould was part of the core teaching faculty at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and received multiple awards recognizing her dedication to teaching. Dr. Gould is fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Endoscopy through the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She performs minimally invasive procedures and has advanced skills in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, fertility optimization and robotic surgery. While born and raised in Texas, Dr. Gould is excited to return to the Pacific NW. In her spare time, Dr. Gould enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr Gould has been remarkable over the years

Dr. Gould has been the first doctor who has recommended trying trigger point injections for pelvic pain associated with endometriosis, which has offered an amazing amount of sustained pain relief for me. After dealing with this condition for decades and trying just about everything else under the sun, this is the first time that I feel like I have a treatment option that isn't just taking more prescription pain medications or trying out a temporary menopause. I wish this option would have been made available to me by one of my other providers years ago Furthermore, Dr. Gould made it clear from the very beginning that she was committed to finding options to help in my healing journey that were my choice to explore. She's never pressured me into any treatment option, but rather has shared each option with me and carefully weighed the pros and cons so that I could make an informed decision about my own body.

Appreciated Dr. Gould's sincere concern (she apologized for the brief wait! What doctor does that these days??). She is highly experienced in her field and can speak comfortably in lay person's language.

Dr Gould has the best bedside manner and skill of any doctor I've experienced. She listened to my concerns (that proved to be a legitimate health issue) when multiple other doctors completely dismissed me. She provided me emotional support for my fertility roadblocks and also took into consideration all my hesitations and concerns with procedure processes. I would recommend Dr Gould as the best possible care you can receive for both skill and customer service/ experience of care.

I loved how much information she gave me as well as how many treatment options she provided. She made me feel seen and heard. She let me decide which treatment I wanted rather than telling me what I should be doing, making me feel at ease and in control of my body

Words cannot describe how amazing Dr. Gould is. She makes me feel heard, valid, and I trust her. Dr. Gould will always be the first doctor I will recommend for anyone needing any GYN care. She is hands down an asset to Legacy. We are lucky to have her.
