Legacy and UnitedHealthcare Contract Negotiations

Legacy Health and UnitedHealthcare are negotiating a new contract. Last March, as part of the standard contract negotiation process, Legacy gave UnitedHealthcare a notice of termination. This is to prevent the existing contract from automatically renewing before negotiations are complete. The notice does not mean that Legacy is ending our affiliation with UnitedHealthcare. It gives us the option to do so if an agreement cannot be reached on or before September 30, 2026.
