Legacy to end contract with Humana Medicare Advantage
After careful review of our contract with Humana Medicare Advantage, Legacy has made the difficult decision to terminate our agreement effective April 1, 2027.
This means Humana Medicare Advantage members will need to enroll in Original Medicare or choose a different Medicare Advantage plan to continue services at Legacy.
We recognize the stress this situation creates for our patients. We are sharing this information with you now to help make this a smooth transition.
Medicare Annual Open Enrollment starts on Oct. 15 and ends Dec. 7, 2026. We encourage you to explore your insurance coverage options during this time.
There are many Medicare Advantage plans available that include Legacy Health as part of their network. If you would like to remain in-network with Legacy, you can enroll in Original Medicare or choose a different Medicare Advantage plan. See a list of Medicare Advantage plans we contract with here.
