Developing Healthy Kids Through Healthy Diets

Dietitians help children and their families be and stay healthy by creating and educating about healthy diets to support wellness and growth while taking in account other specific needs that child may have. Our dietitians are specially trained to understand the specific nutritional needs of children. They often work with physicians and other medical experts in various areas of children’s health, including 

• Diabetes 
• Cancer  
• Rehabilitation
• Chronic Diseases 
• Eating disorders 
• Feeding Disorders 
• Prematurity 
• Critical Illness 

Our locations  

There are multiple ways a child may see our dietitians. Dietitians meet with children and families at the request of your child’s doctor. If you feel that your child would benefit from working with a Dietitian talk to your child’s doctor to see if a referral is right for you. 

In the hospital (inpatient) 

As needed, our dietitians consult and provide recommendations to patients while they are in the hospital.
