For new parents

Pad those sharp corners, plug up your electrical outlets and lock your lower cabinets. Parents with children six months old to toddler age should uncover all the little hazards that hide throughout your home. We currently offer virtual car seat education sessions and a virtual home safety consultation upon request. Contact us at: rchinjuryprevention@lhs.org

Baby and infant CPR classes

You never want to think about your child being in a life-threatening situation, but being prepared can make all the difference in case of emergency. Should your child’s heart stop, you can save valuable time and increase their chance of surviving by knowing how to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).

Helmet safety

Each year, Legacy Health and Randall Children’s Hospital provide more than 5,000 helmets for children and adults who bike, skateboard or snowboard. These helmets are available at low or no cost, based on need. We also hold helmet clinics where you can purchase helmets, get help on adjusting the fit, and learn how to wear them properly.
