Follow-up care

Being discharged from the Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation program marks an important step in your child’s healing process. Continued support from family, other caregivers, school, friends and medical providers will still be needed. Before discharge, you will receive information from members of the rehab team with recommendations to continue to support your child's recovery. Instructions may include what activities are safe, how to give any medications, and any follow-up medical and therapy appointments to be scheduled.
