Thomas Wesel joins foundation board of Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center

GRESHAM, Ore. (Aug. 10, 2023) – Legacy Health Foundation is pleased to announce the election of Thomas Wesel to its board of trustees for Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center. The board supports fundraising efforts for the hospital.


Tom is the principal and owner of JRJ Architects. He has more than 30 years of experience in architecture and a portfolio that includes many healthcare projects such as medical office buildings, outpatient centers and campus master planning. Tom is an active member of Oregon’s healthcare design profession and keeps current on best practices in facility design for improved patient care. He also has worked on numerous energy studies and sustainability design features, with many of his projects receiving LEED accreditation.


Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center, East Multnomah County's full-service community hospital, offers advance care and expertise in robotic-assisted surgery, cancer treatment and gastrointestinal care. A long-standing part of the community, the hospital continues to expand its services to meet the needs of local patients. It is part of Legacy Health, the area’s largest local, nonprofit health system.


The foundation officers for Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center are Larry Schwartz, chair; Jeffrey Ganz, vice chair; Diane Noriega, secretary; and Amanda Garcia, treasurer.
