Legacy Health adult specialty advanced practice providers return to work

After more than 30 bargaining and mediation sessions over 20 months, we are pleased to share that the Legacy adult specialty advanced practice providers (APPs) have ended the strike as of Dec. 30 and are now voting on a contract. We expect to know the vote result by Jan. 3 or sooner.
Employees will return to work no later than Jan. 4 and there will be no lapse in benefits coverage.
Should APPs vote against ratifying the contract, there will be a 90-day cooling off period. During the cooling off period, APPs will continue to work and bargaining will continue, but another strike cannot occur.
We will share more information in the coming days, once we know the result of the ratification vote.
