Support resources for medical staff members, residents and fellows

Stress and anxiety are common feelings at work. After all, difficult situations are bound to happen in health care — they’re inevitable. Thoughts of isolation, guilt and depression can frequently settle in because of them.

That’s why Legacy Health provides every employee, provider, contractor, volunteer and vendor access to a variety of wellbeing resources and education. There’s likely one for your specific situation.

Our Employee Wellbeing intranet page (requires Legacy login) also has fully detailed information regarding these and other programs.

Crisis resources

Sometimes, you might need immediate attention — someone to talk to right away. If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis requiring urgent support, you can visit an emergency room, call 911, or seek 24/7 support at the number below. Help is available.

988 Lifeline (24/7 Crisis & Suicide Support)

Call or text: 988

Peer provider support

Sometimes, the person you need to talk to about the difficulties you are experiencing is someone similar to yourself — a peer, someone who works a job similar to your own, and therefore might have firsthand experience. Legacy’s Provider Peer Support Program can match you with a peer who can, in turn, provide perspective, insight and understanding through a peer-to-peer conversation.

To refer yourself or a colleague, contact us through our Provider Peer Support intranet page (requires Legacy login).
