Clinics applaud LHP Provider Directory for boosting visibility and streamlining referrals
The LHP Provider Directory continues to make a meaningful impact across the network, with clinics reporting increased visibility, improved referral processes, and a surge in new patient inquiries.
Lake Grove Medical Clinic has seen a dramatic rise in calls from prospective patients since being listed in the directory. Their wait time for new appointments has stretched to three months—the longest in the clinic’s history. Most referrals come from LMG specialty and GoHealth, prompting the clinic to hire a new provider and consider adding another by year-end. Shannon, a clinic contact, even requested a meeting with the directory team to personally thank them and introduce Dr. Selby.
Northwest ENT & Allergy Clinic also reported a noticeable uptick in call volume. The directory has empowered staff to better manage referral appropriateness, helping preserve appointment availability. While they couldn’t definitively link the increase in referrals to the directory, the trend from LHP primary care providers is clear.
Summit Orthopedics shared that their referral coordinator has seen more inquiries from LHP providers about referral suitability. This has led to fewer inappropriate referrals and a smoother patient experience, reducing frustration from misdirected appointments.
Knott Street Dermatology noted an increase in new patient referrals from LHP. Their coordinator uses the directory to contact providers for referral corrections and service clarifications. Before the directory, the clinic had limited insight into LHP membership and contact information.
These testimonials underscore the directory’s growing role in enhancing collaboration and patient care across the network. As clinics continue to benefit, the LHP team remains committed to refining and expanding the directory’s reach.
