Legacy Emanuel Medical Center has a deep appreciation for our volunteers and offers a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the hospital. We strive to create an enriching environment for our volunteers as they devote time and service to providing valuable assistance to staff, patients, and visitors. What is the age requirement to volunteer?
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old for most opportunities, although some roles require a minimum age of 18 years. 

What is the expected commitment for volunteers?
We ask you to commit to one four hour shift per week for a minimum of six months. 

What is the process for becoming a volunteer?

Do I need to be vaccinated?
Volunteers are required to be fully immunized against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella. Additionally, two COVID-19 vaccinations are required. *Formal vaccine declinations are offered and accepted through the Employee Health office*
