How our program compares

Our breast cancer program is among the top in the nation when measured by our quality of care. We not only meet or exceed our peers in the region, but we often better than national averages in terms of providing recognized standards of cancer care. Our performance in these accreditation programs tells you that we provide the highest level of care cancer available.

Chemotherapy for hormone receptor negative breast cancer among the top 5% nationally

Quality measure details: Combination chemotherapy or chemo-immunotherapy (if HER2 positive) is recommended or administered within 4 months (120 days) of diagnosis for women under 70 with AJCC T1cN0M0, or stage IB - III hormone receptor negative breast cancer.


Radiation therapy after breast conserving surgery

Quality measure details: Radiation therapy is administered within one year of diagnosis for women under age 70 receiving breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer.

Quality measure details: First therapeutic breast surgery in a non-neoadjuvant setting is performed within 60 days of diagnosis for patients with AJCC clinical stage I-III breast cancer.
