We want to continue to provide health care for you and your family and promptly resolve this contract negotiation. Your support is invaluable.

There are two ways to contact Regence and share your feedback.  

  1. Call the phone number on the back of your member ID card and use the following script: 

    2. “My name is ___________ and I am calling to ask Regence to support a fair, reasonable reimbursement for Legacy hospitals and clinics in our communities.  

    I rely on Legacy doctors to keep me and my family healthy. I don’t want to lose access to my doctor. I will not be able to see a doctor who will no longer be covered by Regence insurance.  

    I urge Regence to agree on a sustainable increase that will allow Legacy to continue serving Regence members.  

    Given Regence’s financial health, I hope that Regence will support paying fair, reasonable rates to Legacy and choose not to pass the costs on to families.” 

     

  2. Let Regence know the importance of the care you receive at Legacy by mailing the following letter to their corporate office at P.O. Box 1071, Portland, OR 97207.

    3. To Regence contracting, 

    I am writing to ask Regence to support a fair, reasonable reimbursement for Legacy hospitals and clinics in our communities.  

    I rely on Legacy doctors to keep me and my family healthy. I don’t want to lose access to my doctor. I will not be able to see a doctor who will no longer be covered by Regence insurance.  

    I urge Regence to agree on a sustainable increase that will allow Legacy to continue serving Regence members. The reimbursement increase Legacy proposed to Regence is fair in this market. It reflects the value and actual cost of care Legacy provides to patients in our communities. 

    Legacy Health provides high-quality health care in our community; they are struggling to recover financially after the pandemic while Regence is doing comparatively much better financially.  

    Given Regence’s financial health, I hope that Regence will support paying fair, reasonable rates to Legacy and choose not to pass the costs on to families.
