March 31, 2024

Dear Legacy Health Patient,

We are pleased to announce that Legacy will remain in the Regence network. Regence BlueCross BlueShield members can continue to access Legacy for their care. Legacy and Regence reached agreement on a new contract on March 31, 2024.

The new contract means there is no change in your access to Legacy hospitals, clinics and providers as well as Legacy-GoHealth Urgent Care centers. You can continue to receive high-quality care from Legacy without any disruption or change.

We apologize for any stress or anxiety that these contract negotiations may have caused you. We know how important it is for you to have continued access to your trusted health care providers and are grateful to bring you peace of mind with a resolution.

Thank you for choosing Legacy Health for your care. We appreciate your trust and loyalty, and we look forward to serving you and your family for years to come.

Sincerely,

Merrin Permut, MHA
Vice President and Chief Population Health Officer
Legacy Health

Why did I get this letter?

We sent this letter to Legacy Health patients who we believe are Regence, Premera or other BlueCross BlueShield members.

Can I still see my Legacy doctor?

Yes. Legacy and Regence have signed a new contract which makes all Legacy hospitals, clinics and providers in-network for Regence, Premera or other BlueCross BlueShield insurance plan members.

Why did I get letters saying Legacy may no longer be in-network with my insurance plan?

Our contract with Regence was due to expire after March 31. We chose to communicate directly with our patients because we always will do everything possible to help our patients. By sending timely letters with the latest information, you could make informed choices about your health care.
