About Me:

Alexandra McMenamin is a certified Physician Assistant at Southwest Family Physicians at which she has been practicing in a full-time capacity for 10 years. Alexandra’s primary focus is family medicine, she enjoys the broad spectrum of patients and conditions that family practice embodies. She welcomes male and female patients of all ages, from 2 months old and on, with both chronic and acute problems. She is experienced in managing most chronic conditions and treating and diagnosing most acute conditions from diabetes, hypertension, depression, anxiety and migraines to colds and the flu, rashes and musculoskeletal pain issues and everything in between. She is particularly keen on routine wellness exams as a primary focus of her approach to caring for patients, which is education and screening for prevention and early detection.
