About Me:

Dr. Marshall Olson is a board-certified Internal Medicine primary care physician who has been practicing medicine as of 2006. She sees patients aged 14 and up, and her areas of specialty include preventing and treating HIV, sexual health issues including the treatment of sexually transmitted infections. She provides care for gender affirmation. Dr. Marshall Olson is proud to have graduated from Idaho State University for her undergraduate work and completed both her medical education and Master of Public Health at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. She completed her internship and residency at Legacy Emanuel and Good Samaritan Internal Medicine Residency Program. She is a strong advocate for care of the underserved and invested in real change to our broken medical system. In her spare time, Dr. Marshall Olson enjoys beekeeping and tending to her backyard chicken flock. She is an enthusiastic gardener and cooking student.

Dr Angela Marshall-Olson is the best doctor I've ever had in my 57 yrs. I would consider Dr Angela Marshall-Olson to be in the top 5 doctors in the Pacific Northwest.

I have had this doctor as my primary for as long as I've lived in Oregon. I've never had another doctor treat me with respect and care like her. If I ever had to move to another state I would (theoretically) fly back for my appointments.

Everyone I spoke with was friendly and efficient. This was my initial visit and Dr. Marshall Olsen was wonderful - kind, pleasant, attentive and efficient.

My biggest complaint is with medical records. I have dropped off several copies of my labs from another provider. They NEVER get scanned in to the chart for my doctor to review. The last time I dropped off a set the only scanned in one of the entire set, and it was a unique lab that would not be ordered by my PCP. I don't know how a medical records person gets to choose what to scan in to a chart. Now, I have to get another copy, scan them myself, and upload them in to MyChart. SUPER annoying and ridiculous that this would happen. Otherwise, love the office, love the staff and love my doctor. Thanks for listening! Pat

I've worked in healthcare 20 years and Kay is the absolute best MA I've encountered. Friendly, engaging, professional, patient centered. Dr Marshall is a gem and represents how all physicians should care for their patients!

Extremely long wait times to establish care with PCP or other specialists in the legacy health system and some specialists are not even taking new patients. This has increased my urgent care and ED utilization and is not the care that I need to manage my newly diagnosed autoimmune disease. Once I established care, my care team was amazing. The admin systems to gain access to care providers needs work.

HIGHLY COMPETENT AND FRIENDLY PROVIDER AND STAFF . I FEEL AS THOUGH I AM GETTING SUPERB CARE. HOWEVER, IT IS VERY TOUGH TO GET INTO A SPECIALIST IN LEGACY EVEN WHEN THE P;ROVIDER MARKS THE REFERRAL AS HIGH PRIORITY

Dr OlsenMarshall is caring and supportive, listens well and explains well. I mentioned in passing that I was going to Chili, and she immediately checked the web for any diseases I may need vaccination, as well as meds I might need in case I had difficulties with altitude and digestion etc. It never occurred to me I needed this. As it turned out I did! The trip was made comfortable at times because I had the meds she prescribed. Very grateful she responded to just a passing small talk comment. I trust her completely. Which is very important to my well being and emotional health at this stage of aging. I cannot say enough about her and her staff. Kat is also very caring and personable. I also appreciate their call to me the day after I been to the urgent care for a burn and rash that developed. Previously they called after I'd been to er about heart / chest pain. This helped me to feel confident that they are kept informed and will follow up. I am so grateful for the peace of mind.

My visits are always very favorable, everyone from Diane at the front desk, nurse Kat and Dr. Angela are caring, friendly and make sure that I understand all information given. Love going there, as weird as it may sound.

Dr Angela Olson and her nurse assistant, Kat, are an excellent team!! Both always listen to my concerns. Dr Olson never makes you feel like she's hurried. Always explains clearly her thoughts and medical reasons for ordering tests or certain medications she prescribes.

Filled out paperwork online and then had to again fill out more paperwork at the office. What was the point of doing it beforehand if I'm going to be asked again to fill it out at the office?? Felt it was completely unnecessary and rude to expect patients to sign a document saying they have not had care elsewhere and if they have I would be responsible for the bill. I believe I'm responsible for the bill regardless if insurance doesn't pay for what ever service I receive so this is redundant and I felt like I was bullied and being treated as if I am a liar. Geez!!!

Dr Marshall Olson, her asst Cat and the reception were all wonderful and respectful. Both Dr and Asst went out of their way to listen to my concerns and responded to everything knowledgeably and thoroughly.They are great!

Dr. AMO is new to me in the past year after Dr. Seres left. She was recommended by Dr. Jocelyn Camara and I couldn't be happier with her and her approach to care. She listens, is empathetic and explains things well.

I feel incredibly lucky to have Dr. Marshall-Olson as my new primary care provider. At my very first visit, she made me feel welcome and comfortable, as though I'd been seeing her for years. She listens carefully and shows deep understanding and empathy. I'm so grateful Dr. Marshall-Olson is my PCP; it is clear she is a truly excellent physician.

Both my husband (who is a dentist) and I were very impressed with Dr Marshall Olson's explanations, brightness, kindness, and compassion. She went beyond our expectations. Kat, her medical assistant and front office were also warm, efficient, and helpful. I have had many excellent doctors in the past (they've retired or moved) but this office is by far the best provider!!!!!!!

Excellent experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Marshall-Olson is a dream doctor with her friendly and caring personality. She is quite thorough and interested in the patient as an individual. I couldn't be happier with my experience and feel much relief that I found a PCP that i feel a connection with.

All of the doctors I have are Legacy doctors that I have been seeing for over a decade, and there's a reason for that. Trust. They are amazing doctors that treat me with respect and dignity. At every appointment all of my questions and concerns are completely addressed and I leave the appointments feeling good about the visit. Being able to have trust in your doctor is important and I have full trust in mine, 100%

Really, really like my provider & her nurse. Don'( always like why I have to see them but know they both will help me & I walk away feeling better. I am so very thankful to have them when I need them. Also the front desk & telephone ladies are wonderful. Always friendly & more than helpful. Am so glad I have that clinic to go to.

I could not be happier with my experience. This was my new patient appointment with the doctor. She spent a very long time with me and was extremely thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. I felt valued and listened to. The doctor's assistant, Catherine Walters, made me feel welcome and comfortable. She also drew blood in a completely pain-free manner. I had been a patient of Dr. Miller for many years and I adored her. I am immensely relieved to have found another caring, excellent practice. I know I will receive wonderful care in this office.

I had further questions for my provider after she left the room. I also don't feel like I can get much out of my PCP other than referrals and telemedicine advice.

This was my initial visit with a new Primary Care doctor. I had a lot of trouble getting a PCP doctor, had to wait several months to see this one, rescheduled twice by me, once by the clinic. But once I got there, it was great. The receptionist, assistant that took me to the exam room and took my vitals, and Dr. Marshall-Olsen all treated me with friendliness and respect.
