About Me:

Before coming to Medicine, I spent 13 years working in social services, including the elderly, homeless, LGBTQ and those with HIV. This has profoundly influenced my approach to patient care. I believe in spending time with my patients, and those involved with their care, to understand who they are and what matters most to them. Together we can then balance their values with medical evidence and expert opinions. Outside of work, I am actively involved in my sons' school and in our Jewish community. I believe in lifelong learning, including medicine and science in general. I also study Jewish ethics and have a soft spot for musical theater, film and science fiction.

Doc was very cautious with my injuries. He listened and examined and discussed the game plan. That was currently in place and whether or not it was a good idea and what should be next.

Dr. Brody is direct, thorough and professional. He hits all of the "high notes" of communication, i.e., clear, concise and complete. Concurrently, he is demonstrably courteous and considerate. He took immediate action to address my issues laid out a precise treatment plan; then took the appropriate actions necessary to implement the plan.

Dr Brody has done tremendous work improving my health. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. Really listens and takes my concerns into account when treating my complex health issues.

This was a first visit to establish.Although the Dr spent extra time w/ me, it was felt rushed and we were not able to fully review my med history.It also seemed that the Dr had abit of predetermination regarding on of my concerns, and made that a priority, whereas I felt It should have been secondary, or even tertiary.I was interrupted while I was speaking several times, but I understand there was a-lot to cover in the slotted time.The Dr seems very experienced, knowledgeable, and smart. He is a critical thinker. I like that.The PAC/MA/RN is great.

I love my doctor's appointments with Dr.Brody! He is a very nice man, who listens, and is a fun person to talk to. He is the first Doctor I have actually enjoyed going to. He makes everything easy to understand, and instuctons easy to follow. A real breath of fresh air. Would never want to see anyone else. Thank you Dr. Brody!

I generally find healthcare a rather frustrating and tedious process. I don't expect my PCP to 'fix' me, but I do find a rather laizze faire attitude toward addressing the issues most affecting my quality of life.

I love legacy and the Doctors. Currently it is difficult to get an appointment quickly when needed and for a new patient appointment. More primary physicians are needed to increase patient satisfaction.

Dr. Brody understands my odd medical stuff and treats me not as the circus freak others have done in the past. He is funny intelligent and absolutely no nonsense and my weird brain groks what he lays down.Do not lose him. Give him what ever he wants to keep him there!!!

Dr. Brody listens to me and asks questions about my conditions in order to arrive at the best option for treating my condition. He truly cares for his patients and strives to give excellent care. Because he thinks through all possible solutions, he has saved my life, possible twice. I hope he never retires so that he will be my doctor for the rest of my life.

Dr was good at trying to figure out the cause of the pain I'm currently experiencing. His bedside manner could improve but this is easily overlooked due to his efforts in helping me find out what's causing the pain.

I THINK MY PCP'S OFFICE IS OK. I LIKE DR BRODY VERY WELL, HE SPENDS TIME WITH ME AS I THINK HE SHOULD, HIS EXPLANATION ON MY DECISION ON FUTHER OR DIFFERENT CARE WITH OTHER PROVIDERS WITH IN THE LEGACY SYETEM SOMETIMES IS VERY CONFUSING. SOME TIMES I FEEL DR BRODY IS VERY FLIP IT ABOUT MY DIAGOSIS, OR TREATMENT WHICH FRUSTRATES ME. I REALIZE I AM JUST HIS PATIENT, BUT NEED TO KNOW HE IS CONCERNED AT THE TIME OF ADVISE HE IS WITH ME AND NOT JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS. OTHER THEN THAT I THINK HE IS A GOOD PHYSICAIN. PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT PUTTING HIM DOWN, BUT SOME OF THE CONCERNS I HAVE HAD WHILE HE IS MY DOCTOR IS HERE. HE IS MY PHYSICIAN AND I SHOULD RESPOND TO HIS RECOMMENDATIONS AND FEEL I AM GETTING THE BEST INFORMATION FROM HIM I CAN GET. I AM NOT THE DOCTOR HE IS.
