It took multiple weeks for the hospital to process our referral and then was a couple of months later before we could get in for an appointment. Our son had a skin tag removed, which is easier the sooner you do it after birth, so it felt like we were up against the clock. It also would have been ideal if we could have emailed a picture and determined it was something we could do in clinic (it was) and the doctor could have advised us on trying to time feedings and naps to coincide with the appointment to make it easier, it may have been a more efficient visit. Everything ended up working out, but it would have been more helpful to be able to prepare and make sure baby was the most ideal patient. The doctor was great and adaptable though.
