About Me:

Dr. Isenbarger originally entered medical school with the goal of practicing tropical medicine (working up cases of fever across the African continent), which transitioned into study of vaccinology and epidemiology for several productive years with the military in South and Southeast Asia. Eventually, though, he sought a return to clinical medicine, retraining in cardiovascular disease. He gets the most professional satisfaction from helping patients regain optimal functional capacity and quality of life, through improved exercise ability and freedom from pain. Some of his primary clinical interests include coronary artery intervention, peripheral vascular disease/intervention, critical limb ischemia/limb salvage, mesenteric ischemia, and renal artery disease. Outside of work, he spends most of his time trying to be a responsible grownup, and a good parent and husband, while fitting in surfing and golf as often as possible!

I'm very pleased with everyone I see. The problem is the length of time to get an appointment with specialists.

Good visit overall. Still have some questions about some of medication. Wish Dr. Isenbarger had a PA/RN who I could spend some time with going over all meds that I am on.

I was very pleased with the service I was provided.

After I arrived, the receptionist did not seem to know I'd done the pre-visit questionnaire on my computer. When I got into the exam room, the medical assistant asked all the questions about my prescriptions that I'd answered by computer earlier. When I saw the doctor, he expressed surprise that your computer system had said "no medical history." I also had been mystified by that.

I was seen on time and all was good except I forgot to ask the doctor to change my blood pressure medication to one that wouldn't cause swelling in my ankles. But, he and the staff were great.

I come to your office because I have been with Dr. Isenbarger for about 25 or 30 years and love him. Your office is one of the worse I have ever dealt with. Would be nice to talk to talk to someone when I call instead of leaving a message. Also cannot understand why I have so get a referral when I have been seeing him for as long as I have and also since I have a PPO insurance plan and he is a preferred provider.
