About Me:

Dr. Zinser grew up in the Gresham area, working through college on a local nursery/farm. After finishing his medical education in Des Moines, Iowa and subsequently his Family Medicine Residency in Vancouver, Washington, he has established practice with Legacy Health Medical Group - Firwood Clinic. He looks forward to caring for patients of all ages in his home communities when he joins Firwood Clinic in September 2012. Hobbies include: Hiking, Spending time with my family

The appointment went very well. Everyone was courteous and respectful. I got to see the doctor in good time. There were no bad moments in my visit what so ever.

Thursday was a chaotic and busy day, due issues outside of this doctor appointment (such as my father's surgery, a nephew in hospice care, and a neighbor giving birth and me caring for their dogs). We were able to run through all of my health concerns quickly and thoroughly, thus allowing me to get back to the outside chaos. As always, Dr. Zinser was great.

MA was excellent, I was there for ER follow up and Dr. Zinger answered all my questions about what the different doctors concluded. And options going forward. So helpful for me as I was not able to remember after medication reaction.

Dr. Zinser and the staff at Legacy Firwood are skilled, caring, and focused on helping patients in the primary care setting. I'm confident in the assessment and follow-on care recommended by Dr. Zinser. Likewise, the assistants, lab team, and administrative support do a good job of keeping the clinic running smoothly.

While I did wait for Dr. Zinser a bit longer than usual, I would MUCH rather wait for a doctor who spends time with their patients than have them keep to a tight schedule and rush me out the door. I needed to have a conversation with Dr. Zinser about out my health and was able to really talk through it and get good advice.
