About Me:

Emoniel Isakharov, M.D., is an Internal Medicine Physician. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, where he also completed his undergraduate education. He completed his residency at the Legacy Emanuel and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Isakharov enjoys treating patients 18 and older, with focuses on Nutrition, Weight Loss, and Exercise medicine, as well as advanced heart and kidney disease. He completed additional training with a focus in Women's Health including IUD placements. Hobbies include: spending time with family, fitness, travel, and reading philosophy.

I mentioned my wife's passing, and I broke down crying. Her passing is still a very sensitive subject after more than five years. The good doctor was very empathetic. Also, I have turned down many referrals. He seems to understand why.He is more concerned about my health than I am. He always encourages me to call if I change my mind. I never call. I just keep my semi-annual appointments with him. I guess I am not an easy-to-manage patient.

Quick response to request for unscheduled appointment with primary care provider. Waiting time was minimal and staff treated me with courtesy and respect at all times. Primary care provider was courteous, respectful, informative and responsive to my needs. Primary care provider and clinic staff are competent and knowledgeable.

This clinic and lab provides outstanding service and Dr. Isakharov is knowledgeable, personable and an excellent communicator - he has been my physician for three years and he is EXCEPTIONAL. I hope with the Legacy/OHSU merger that we will not lose either Dr. Isakharov or the staff and services at this facility.

I hold Doctor Isakharov in high regard. He always shows me the utmost respect and courtesy. His questions and answers are complete but not over done, and I feel like when I am with him, his mind is on my issues and health, and not on other issues or patients. I feel fortunate to be part of his practice after my previous Doctor of 30 years retired.

Dr Isakharov is a very caring intelligent doctor. Very easy to communicate with. During my years of having him as my PCP he has never had to look up the answer to any question I had. The medical assistant was very gentle in giving me my pneumonia vaccine, as well as being respectful and engaged. Dr. Isakharov is the best physician I've ever had. He explains things very carefully, which has prompted me to take care of some medical issues that I was reluctant to take on before. This has resulted in my overall better health. I'm very happy we were fortunate and finding him when we moved to the area.

Dr. Isakharov was very informed about my medical history and was very caring and interested in my situation. He solved my problem and advised me to use wrist braces. Having to visit the lab for a blood draw after the appointment is inefficient and time consuming. Past providers have a nurse/phlebotomist draw blood in the examining room at the conclusion of the doctor visit. Also tried to get a blood draw prior to the appointment so results could be discussed but the nurse's assistant never returned my phone message.

This was a new to provider visit, really appreciate Dr. Isakharov, he was very patient with my questions and took the time to answer each one. I could tell that he had reviewed my chart and was aware of my medical history. It did take a really long time after my previous PCP had left to get this appointment, so I was very happy to have met with my new provider.

Dr. Isakharov was patient, professional, understanding, and clearly had prepared for this visit. He answered all our questions, made sure we didn't have others, and provided clear guidance about the new meds as well as life style impact and next steps. Hands down he is the best primary care doctor I have had in my years. The nurse assistant was also professional, friendly and helpful during the pre and post visit.

Yeah!! On checking in I was asked if my insurance had changed since my last visit rather than asking again for my cards. Sure wish that their legacy health lab in the same building did asked the question vs always asking for the cards (and copying them)!

Dr. Isakharov is the best physician I've ever had, and I'm [age removed]. I don't need a pat on the head from a doctor, I look for logic and practicality, I find that in him. He listens, is careful in prescription suggestions and works to get to the root of the problem. I don't believe a physician can do better than that.

I am extremely pleased with my first visit with Dr. Emoniel Isakharov. He encouraged me to go back to my water aerobics, made suggestions on eating healthier, and lowered/eliminated a couple of my supplements. I am impressed with his advice on nutrition and living a healthy life style; I will definitely have lower numbers on my 6 month visit; which is my goal to follow his advice.I am excited to have Dr. Emoniel Isakharov as my new primary care provider!

Passed out during my blood test which was naturally rather unpleasant, but the entire staff in the lab as well as Dr. Isakharov were very fast to respond and help make me as comfortable and relaxed as possible. They monitored me as I recovered, and were overall very excellent in responding to the situation. I greatly appreciate everyone's care and kindness. Dr. Isakharov even phoned me later to follow up and make sure I made it home safe, which was very nice. Excellent staff across the board.
