Legacy Devers Eye Clinic proudly announces the opening of The Inflammatory Eye Disease Clinic under the direction of Dr. James Rosenbaum. The clinic will evaluate patients with ocular inflammation such as uveitis, scleritis, orbital inflammation, autoimmune retinopathy, mucous membrane pemphigoid, and steroid responsive optic neuropathy. Dr. Rosenbaum is an internationally honored physician whose accolades include the International Uveitis Study Group Foundation Gold Medal given once every four years, the Friedenwald Award from ARVO, the Distinguished Clinician Scholar Award from the American College of Rheumatology, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is the author of more than 600 peer reviewed reports or invited chapters as well as the co-author of one book. He is a former president of the American Uveitis Society. His trainees include a previous ARVO president and a former member of the National Eye Institute Council.
