About Me:

Dr. Jamie Skreen was born in a small town outside of Cleveland, Ohio and is a graduate of the Ohio State University. She obtained her medical degree at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, where she spent most of her clinical training in Portland, Oregon. Her residency was at Providence Oregon Family Medicine Residency in Milwaukie, Oregon. Dr. Skreen is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Physicians. She enjoys spending time getting to know her patients and listening to any and all concerns. She sees patients of all ages and medical complexities. Dr. Skreen enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 young children. She enjoys snowboarding, playing piano, hiking, and camping.

First time visit with Dr. Skreen. Very impressed with her, very easy to talk to and I easily understood her responses. We determined I needed a follow-up procedure and I definitely wanted her to do it. Overall I'm glad she is my new doctor.

I AM SO PLEASED THAT Jamie Skreen is my new Dr.!This was my 1st visit with her and she was amazing. Kind, welcoming, professional are just a few words to describe her.I previously had Dr. Vinagalla and I did not like her personality at all! She was not a good communicator and was not a friendly Dr. At all.Thank you Dr. Skreen for an excellent 1st visit.

The only negative was waiting over 30minutes for my blood draw, but the phlebotomist was very nice.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Screen. She spent some time getting to know me and my medical history. She had answers for me that NO ONE in the last 10 years have been able to answer and ordered tests to rule a diagnosis in or out. She Dr. Screen gave me hope for a better life going forward.

Nothing bad, Dr. Skreen was very easy to talk to and was very helpful. I suggested to my husband that he should see her also and he has made an appointment to see her.

Dr. Skreen was excellent. This was a first appointment for my daughter who has Down Syndrome and is non-verbal. Communication in these situations is a little bit awkward, but Dr. Skreen understood and was respectful. She seemed more pro-active than our former doctor. For instance, she gave a referral to OHSU for eye testing, without my requesting it, and that was also the place I was interested in learning more about.

First appointment. Routine with no illness. I have been trying hard to get into the clinic with a female Dr. Took the first one that had an opening. Seemed fine. Not who I was hoping for but I found myself without a primary when cascade closed down. I wouldn't recommend only because it's so unlikely anyone would get in. Did not appreciate the lab that does the blood draw. Tech had issues with how much to draw, remembering to put my name on vials and ended up having to redraw blood. None of the techs could locate latex free bandages. Seemed stressed and out of their comfort zone. Even the sign in area was backed up and disorganized. Staff was very stressed, talking over each other and calling out instructions to patients trying to check in. Things were backed up and chaotic and it was still only morning. A lot of the issues involved automated check in, which didn't appear to be helpful at all. Made quite a negative impression on me

This was my first time back with legacy after being with kaiser. It took a while to get scheduled in but it was like I never left. Everyone was courteous and professional. My new doctor was absolutely amazing and made me feel comfortable. She answered everything I had a Question about and was very easy to talk to.

I felt respected by everyone in the office. I felt that Dr Skreen listened to me and helped me with my issues. I really liked her, this was my first appointment with her and I want to keep her as my doctor.

Jamie Skreen is incredibly young?!?! I came in for cortisone injections in my extremely painful knees and shoulder. With a straight face she told me she'd NEVER administered any shots! I was dumbfounded hearing that from a doctor. The lack of knowledge and experience isn't going to help her establish credibility as a professional. She ordered thyroid medication without in depth explanation or instruction. I had just come in for shots, and made that known when I made the appointment. Now, I have to jump through more hoops by making ANOTHER appointment because they finally called me back (after a whole week!) and said she could administer the cortisone shots afterall?! No thank you! This was my very first time seeing her, as my other PCP straight up and left w/ no explanation. I felt like an anonymous cow being rushed through what should have been a thorough appointment. I'm incredulous.

Honestly? I don't think the Dr really cared that much about the issue. She clearly didn't understand the major impact it was having on my well being. She asked some basic questions and didn't even try to examine my leg. The only reason additional services happened was because I pushed back via My Health when all she wanted to do was wait and see if it got better. Those services didn't help us figure out the problem but they did help rule out some items that could have been a big issue (like blood clot). No other solutions were offered other than let her know if things aren't better in a week. When you aren't getting any sleep for over a week already and it's impacting your ability to do a high stress, high results oriented job and the answer is wait and see what happens that is problematic. My Dr left the practice so I was assigned to Dr Skreen. I don't know if maybe she didn't want more patients, but I definitely didn't feel as if me or my situation was very important to her.

On March 19th, 2024 at 7am, I had a new patient appointment with Dr. Skreen. Upon being taken back to the patient room by the (assumably) medical assistant, we stopped along the way to get my weight. However, as a person who is currently pursuing recovery from and eating disorder, I asked not to be weighed and stated "I have a history of an eating disorder and would prefer not the be weighed". The medial assistant insisted that I be weighed and stated "but it's in kilograms", as if that is supposed to help. I ended up asking if I could step on the scale backwards, and this was approved. I spent the remainder of my appointment holding back tears and cried on my way home. I understand that this may be standard procedure, however, to have my request in regards to my own care blatantly refused was extremely disheartening. It is incredibly difficult to admit you have an eating disorder, especially to a stranger. Additionally, I now have to have my partner comb through my MyHealth when I need information so that I do not stumble upon or have the urge to check my weight from this visit. I send this message with only the agenda of calling into question mandating that patients be weighed, and also to hopefully prevent this from happening to another patient. I would hope that additional sensitivity training that is specific to eating disorders would be considered. This experience has left me dreading returning to the doctor for any issue and has negatively affected an already delicate situation. I understand that this situation may not seem the most egregious to the average person. However, eating disorders and recovery are incredibly complex and the simple act of listening to the patient or even stating "hm, I'm not too sure, let me check with the doctor and see if there is something we can do for you" can make the different between recovery and relapse for someone with an eating disorder. *please note that this same message was sent to the patient relations email for Legacy Health.

I'm a new patient. Unfortunately, new patient appointments are the first ones at 7 AM. I ride the bus but the first bus doesn't arrive until 7:20 AM. I had to pay $45 for a Lyft. The sign on the clinic door indicates it is open at 6:30 AM. The receptionist didn't open the doors until 6:50 AM. I was supposed to check in at 6:45 AM.When I did get to see Jaimie the appointment was good.

All good - as it was my first time seeing the doctor and first time in this clinic. One receptionist, was much nicer than one of them. One receptionist and doctors assistant was the best, very helpful, made you feel at ease and so friendly. Hope they both stay for a long time. Looking forward to returning

Absolutely impressed with Dr. Skreen. The best news from her was that she can provide care for my husband since she is currently able to take new patients! You and I are extremely fortunate she is in the Legacy team!
