About Me:
Dr. La Rochelle, a native of Chicago, earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College, Chicago followed by a residency in urology at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago. He went on to complete a fellowship in urologic oncology at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. La Rochelle has been practicing urology and urologic oncology since 2009 when he joined the staff at OHSU. He joined Legacy with a personal commitment to continue providing academic-center-level care in a more accessible setting. Dr. La Rochelle has extensive experience in the surgical management of cancer patients and in complex reconstruction of the urinary tract. He has never lost sight of the fundamental goal of achieving the absolute best quality of life possible for his patients. Outside of work, Dr. La Rochelle enjoys spending time with his two daughters, furry family members and friends. He also has an obsession with creating the perfect pickle.
