I think what was missing is the look into my history and the prescription history. I feel like I'm just stuck back on the treadmill with a wait and see option.

Dr. Dempster took lots of time to listen to me and explain his diagnosis. He was familiar with my medical records/previous doctor's notes and he was helpful with recommending a new GP since mine just retired.

The first Dr to actually remember my backstory, medical history, and seem to actually care about his patients. Listened, explained everything amazingly, and very easy going feel to the whole office. Absolutely loved the whole staff. Very friendly and helpful. Homey like feeling - definitely recommending to everyone

I have had multiple appointments with Dr. Dempster with the issue of concentration, and memory because of my epilepsy and medication. Each appointment, Dr. Dempster offers alternative medications but with a dead end response as if I take this medication, this will happen, and if I take that medication, that will happen. As if there is no hope. He doesn't look further into alternatives, such as epilepsy having high correlation with ADHD, or recommending options to better memory and concentration without medication. His only recommendation was exercise. He also didn't even know my age, was fixated on picking apart the patient to find something wrong with me despite my healthy lifestyle and avoiding the only basic question I had asked-how to help my memory and concentration with this disease. I would not recommend him at all.

Confirmation from specialist with good outcome. It took two months for an appointment with this specialist and nearly four months with another; a long time to wait.

We felt Dr. Dempster had read my husband's file with care. He explained possible neurological interactions with Amyloydosis. Were I to have neurological issues, I would seek his care. He is clearly whip smart, well informed,, kind And concerned. Having sat in on a slew of visits with my husband in the last decade, Dr. Dempster Stands out. We are grateful for his care.

I requested a consultation/second opinion from Dr. Dempster. I'm grateful he honored that request! He was able to diagnosis the cause of ataxia and vision issues I've had for 7+ years after coming through past history and tests.

Dr. Dempster was friendly, but seemed dismissive and didn't really listen to my concerns. He also claimed that my medical history (stroke) was false and that the team of doctors that diagnosed my condition was incorrect. He attributed my symptoms to nothing more than a migraine and would not listen to my concerns about how in the past my severe headaches have been linked to conditioned that were diagnosed including pericarditis, effusion, and then tamponade. As indicated Dr. Dempster was friendly but seemed to have all of the answers, before asking questions or even bothering to listen to myself or the other health care representative (I am part of a research study) that was in the room. I only saw Dr. Dempster as part of a research study, but will not be seeking help from him in the future.
